Poprad Restoration - Will it fit?

IMG_4566 Before I get much further, I decided to mock up the bike with a seat and handlebars to make sure I could achieve a setup that actually fit me.  Given my size, it's not uncommon for things to be too small.  My calculations on paper said it would work, but I wasn't 100% confident in the frame geometry figures I'd found online.

I mocked it up with about the same measurements as my current cyclocross bike.  Using the same seat makes things easier.  For my own records, and perhaps your amusement, those measurements were:

  • Center of bottom bracket (BB) to top of seat - 66cm
  • Tip of seat to BB centerline - 10.5cm
  • Tip of seat to handlebar - 62cm
  • Handlebar drop - about 9cm

Though it looks a little goofy, I did get the measurements I was after.  I think it's safe to say there won't be any top tube clearance issues!  I'm going forward with the project.
