Electric DA wins at Erpe-Mere

I was not sharp enough to notice, and thus I was scooped multiple times, but here it is - perhaps the first cyclocross victory on electric 7900, by Neils Albert.  I think we'll see more of this.

One thought. What happens whan you're near the end of the battery life or charge and you go for that important pre-sprint up-shift and you get Nuthin? I imagine that even though they're small, the servo motors suck juice. If it takes as much mental memory as it does for me to recharge my bike light battery during the winter, I'd be screwed 30% of the time!

Hmmm... Yes the weather conditions in the photo do certainly require the need for a bike change. Lets see middle of the race uses normal cable bike finishing lap with plenty of time to celebrate uses electric bike...
