Funky continuous shifter housing

Edit: I already went back to the "regular" method, as I was worried it'd fall apart in a race...but you can read anyway:

By current 'cross bike has down tube cable routing, which I really don't like.  I decided to try putting one long piece of housing on instead to keep the dirt out.  The rear seat stays are carbon with a cool shape that didn't work well with zip ties, so I went another route.

I'll probably change my mind tomorrow but here it is:

What?  Hey, it works pretty good.

zip tied under the down tube

under the down tube.  I should snug that up to the frame.

And across the chainstay.

what the hell's wrong with down tube routing? Maybe when it is warm and you are shouldering a bike with a short sleeve skinsuit on, well it can pull the ape like hairs out of your arm, but with the long sleeve suit, meh. No big deal.

and all that housing can't shift terribly well...

not to mention i've never had issues with a dirty rear-der cable affecting shifting on a down tube routed bike (the Croll).

Hi Erik,

I have a top tube routed carbon frame ready for you. You will miss not having your adjusters though ;)

In the future I am thinking about doing a 2 up top, 1 down option. What do you think?
