Wilsonville 'Cross a big success

In sharp contrast to last week's muddy event, the weather was warm and dry for the second Cross Crusade cyclocross series event.  Again, participant numbers soared well over the thousand mark.  I think about the same as last week – 1200 or so.

If I had to describe this course in one word, I'd say bumpy.  Maybe rocky.  And I do believe we have a new winner in the flat tire prone venue, a title previously held by Barton Park.  Rock hard clinchers ruled the day, but that certainly didn't help anyone's back out.

I'll write a more detailed report later.  I'm tired from all the running I did.  Good thing I brought a pit bike today.

Yeah you're not gonna get much traction with 60psi, you nut! Sorry you got all chewed up by the rocky terrain.
